I have just finished a pink and brown basket bag when I should have been doing other things.  It is pink and brown floral on the outside with brown grosgrain ribbon and buttons.  The lining is matching stripey pink and brown.  It has a reinforced base, bag feet, and a magnetic snap.  The handles are dark brown bamboo.  I got the tutorial from Lisa at UHandbag.  You can see more on my blog at http://sewchristine.blogspot.co.uk

I adore this bag!  You did a wonderful job with everything... the button/ribbon detail, the cordinating but not matchy-matchy lining... I would carry this bag all the time.

Is there such a thing as too much fabric or ribbon
