I lurk; I comment; but I dont post much due to a crappy camera and an utter failure to understand the posting instructions but since this is my fav board (sorry curvy  clothing)I am going to try
I had stitchery block a while back but in the end I went with nesting dolls to perk up a pair of thrift store pants for work

I dont like how the middle line came out but when Im wearing them its hard to tell it looks sloppy
I found the pattern on a woodwork site and did different faces for them all also I took some wrinkles off the Mama .....she looked drained and haggard now she just sleep depp'ed  like the rest of us
Where did I put my pliers this time???

They look great! I really love the face that the second smallest one is making. And the flowers are especially nice.

These are very handsome - I think it is great that they are on pants - If I saw them I on you, I would be so distracted at by how original it was I wouldn't even notice the sleep deprived mama doll!

I love Russian dolls.  I am in a similar boat camera wise - only mine went from crappy to dead!  You had a good idea and it looks like it worked out wonderfully.  I rarely sew, but you have inspired me to try something in a swap I am in.
