i have to apologize to my partners! last week was fairly ridiculous for me as i was frantically finishing my halloween costume (done! and worn!), and i was just popping in to update the list, check PMS and that sort of thing, so i didn't get a chance to upload the atcs that i received. and they were AMAZING! everyone sent such incredible cards!

so very cool! i really like the "fringe" around the spider! how did you do that? what's that technique called? and where'd you get the design itself? i'm so full of questions about anything machine embroidered lately!

this awesome handrawn spider! so impressed with all the drawing (can you tell i can't draw at all? ) this is very cool, with the watercoloury stuff going on in the background.

very cool spooky window! it has actual wood boards, and this funky spirally stuff around it... it reminds me of scrubbers for doing dishes, but softer. it's very neat.

I really liked the way that one turned out, you almost didn't get it.   I'm not sure where I got the background, somewhere online. I was looking for free Halloween clip art. It wasn't originally that color, it was more like the background color in goatgoddess's card. I was playing with brightening the color when I accidentally turned it yellow and green. I think I ended up using it in the backgrounds of 3 ATCs in various colors. I can post it or email it to you if you like.

As much as I'd LOVE to take the credit for that... the skull is actually a stamp that didn't show up very well on the background, so I used a silver paint marker to go over the swirly design in it. However, all the swirls around it are freehand if that counts! Haha

I got my last card today from Zenchild 



I love it, it's got so many layers to it, but I have to tell you that those shiny red wax drops towards the bottom kind of freak me out. they look like drops of blood.
