Hey guys! This is my first post here, although I've been lurking for quite a while. This is my first completed coat and I'm so proud of it, I thought I'd show it off. I got the fabric from eBay for super cheap, but it's a poly/cotton weave and the perfect weight for a coat. I love it.






I used a grape-colored lining on the inside.

Whoops, I should have said which pattern I used. It's Vogue 8346, although I used one of the shorter lengths and paired it with the oversize collar.

Thanks so much for all your kind comments! I actually only started sewing (with zero previous experience) this January, so I consider this a major accomplishment for someone who couldn't even thread a needle a year ago!
