Smiley  Cheesy  Grin This swap gallery is intended as a way to recognize all the wonderful personal swaps that are done in this community!   Grin  Cheesy  Smiley

Personal swaps are not encouraged or supported by Craftster.  This is only a thread to post pictures from your personal experiences.  Personal swaps are not and cannot be tracked in Swap Feedback on profiles and should not be linked to Craftster's Organized Swaps in any way.

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers! Wink

Each month a new gallery will be started.  If you have received from a personal/private swap, within the month, feel free to post pictures here!   Grin

Or browse previous galleries...

javastain and I had a private swap.

April 2007 I sent java a deluxe felting kit with the book, "Fast Fun & Easy Needle Felting;" clover felting tool with 5 needles, extra needles, lots of roving, and some stencils (you use the stencil to guide the felting in a shape. There aren't any pictures, I spent the morning looking for the post.

Here's what javastain sent me (clickable thumbnails):

Here's an overview:

Inside there's some really soft roving, a set of pretty post-a-notes, and the yarn is balls of re-cycled yarn.

See the arrow?

Here's it is:

A closeup of the melted bead bracelet with glass beads embedded:

And an action shot!

Thank you, javastain!

So Lmcbride and I decided to swap a little bit bigger creepy doll. We were both in the creepy doll swap, but they were mini.
Here is what she sent me!!!!
I love her and have named her Lydia, like the girl in beetlejuice!

And here she is sitting under my Halloween tree, which has my other little creepy darlings on it!

Thanks so much Lmcbride!!!

What, no shot of the "caution" undies??  Just kidding!  Grin  I love how she looks under the tree, kind of like the tree is sprouting from her head. (I see weirdness in everything! Roll Eyes)  Anyway I'm glad you like her!  And everyone check back here again because I will be posting pictures of the incredible doll that AlwaysInspired made for me!  (camera is charging Tongue)

LOL I called AlwaysInspired a bad name when she told me she was getting Lmcbride's caution knicker creepy doll.  She is fantastic!
Love her with your Halloween tree, AI (and I think that your accidental but well-placed ornament on the bottom is hilarious!)

Ok, here is my sweet Day of the Dead skelly from AlwaysInspired:

He looks like he's wearing a hat but that's just his shadow for his magnificent head.  His face is all painted in pretty colors.  I love this method she used of painting on fabric and then distressing it.  It's perfect for creepy things!

Yea! Lmcbride glad you liked him!

On another note, I got a package from woodland_faerie today! She kindly sent me 4 vintage knobs so I can use them for a project I'm working on. She also included a few organic lolly pops, some vintage patches, and a wonderful little bat!

The bat.

Thanks so much woodland_faerie!!!!

HOORAY! I completed my first personal swap with AlwaysInspired. We choose to swap 5 points. I requested a wristlet and dotee doll and she delivered!
Group shot:
Two wristlets, 1 Dotee, 2 domino pendants, 2 shrinkies then fantastic extras: photos she took, sweet beads and a ND cup.

The lovely dotee (sorry, color is a bit off), she is really fantastic though. She is so tiny and such a sweet face-

Details of the fantastic fall wristlet (I LOVE TREES!) -

And the fun pendants:

Thank you AlwaysInspired!!!
