This was made as part of a swap angel package for I Sew Cute in the Elvis/Marilyn swap.  I love it-- it has to be one of my favorite things that I've ever made.  Ever.

I'm proud to present my Elvis's Favorite Food Recipe Tea Towel.  Sadly, the pictures came out a little darker than I would have liked, but you can imagine how bright and cheery it really is, right?

Front:

Back:

Close up of the recipe in case you want to make an official Elvis-style peanut butter and nanner sandwich of your own:  (Personally, I despise bananas.)

And a close up of some of the rebus-like images:

And so you can clearly read the factoid on the back:

I don't know if that's actually true or not, but my Elvis cookbook tells me it was, so I choose to believe it.

The recipe came from my Elvis cookbook, the images came from various websites, and the font is called Pupcat.  I just cut and pasted everything together, traced the back with a transfer pencil, and hoped for the best.

Thanks for looking!  As always, I value Craftster opinions and comments more than any others!

That's really great!  I think the design, colors and execution are all top notch!  AND I might have to try a variation on that sandwich - it sounds like a nice treat for a cool fall day.
