I've always loved that fabric. It's so funny.

Little advice - raise your zipper so the edge of the waist is at the top of the teeth - then fold the zipper edges back and stitch them down. Then you won't have a gap. Or just put in a hook and eye.

I am actually putting in the hook and eye tonight, I just havent had the time yet

Thanks for the great comments everyone. Even my husband liked it. And he doesnt care much either way about my crafting.....so that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...

that skirt is awesome ! love the fabric I would totally wear that all the time...

If the hook and eye dosnt work I have a quick fix suggestion for the zipper gapping ... Maybe you could attach a bit of the contrasting material you used for the trim .. to each side of the zipper and just tie it into a lil bow  Grin it would cover the gapping and just add a lil more detail .. and you gotta love the lil details !
 any way I
love it great job !

I wish I had somewhere to wear this.....I am in the heart of redneck country though.....i am making it a part of my halloween costume this year though. The bow idea is a great one, and I think I have just enough fabric to try it out. I am going to experiment this weekend....thanks for the idea violentjayne!
