Details of swap:
To continue celebrating the season of Halloween, All Souls Day, and Day of the Dead, for this swap we will be creating small art dolls or other figures that are approximately in the 3"-6" size range.  The theme is creepy, mysterious, dark, otherworldly, ghostly, creepy-cute, just plain offbeat, or otherwise in the "spirit" of the season.    Think zombies, skullies, ghosts, spirits, human/animal hybrids, human/robot hybrids, human/animal/robot/zombie/creepy cupcakes hybrids...   

Use of any and all materials is encouraged! Cloth, sculpting, modelling, altering or assembling, or mixed-media, as long as the end result is in the 3"-6" size range.  You may state your preference as to where you draw the line in terms of certain types of "dark" not being acceptable - for instance, if you definitely do not appreciate dead or maimed babies, or chainsaw horror, but do love creatures that are half human and half animal, or pale, wandering, long-haired ladies endlessly searching for their lost lovers, make sure you speak up when you sign up!

Please check out all of the links below to see a wide range of excellent examples of dolls and figures.  We will be limited only by our imaginations in terms of types of dolls/figures created and materials used!

SIZE REQUIREMENTS: You will be making ONE "mini art doll/figure" for EACH of your swap partners! You will in turn receive one from each of your partners.  YOU MAY BE MATCHED WITH ONE OR MORE SWAP PARTNERS, depending on your preference and the number of participants.

Every effort will be made to match swappers up in groups of your preferred size range.  You will not be put in a group that is larger than your maximum desired group size.  Some swappers may prefer to make only one or two dolls/figures and some swappers may prefer to swap up to 5 or 6 dolls/figures.


You will be expected to check in to the swap thread or gallery once a week so that we know you are alive and crafting!

You will be expected to get a delivery confirmation number when you send your package, if mailing in your country, or to save your mailing receipt if you can't get a delivery confirmation number.  You will also be expected to pm your partner and your organizer: little green dragonfly when you send and when you receive!  These are essential to receiving "good communication" on your feedback!

I wish I could join...I had a BLAST with the first round, but alas, I already joined the weird/warped/holiday swap organized by Lmcbride...well, that's not what it's called, but I think it's what it might turn into for me.
If I can fit this into my schedule I will..but I'm not sure.

I just checked, and it appears the same questionnaire is used as in round one - you get to select your minimum/maximum range.  So you could say your minimum is one and your maximum is two.  I did 5 dolls last time but this time I will put my max at 3 because I want it to go quick and easy because I'm also crafting for the "Quirky Winter Holiday" swap and that will be much more involved.

Wow, I want to join this swap! I just looked all through the gallery for round 1, and everything was amazing! I told myself no more swaps until after Christmas, but.... I think I might have to join this one.
