Hi everyone!  I made this scarf a few weeks ago for one of the girls I watch at my work.  It is done in double crochet.  I think it turned out pretty good.  For some reason it curves a little, but she loved it so that's all that matters.

Comments and criticism are greatly appreciated!!! Grin

I love the color of the yarn! It looks really warm, and the only reason it curves a little is because your chain stitch was tighter than your double crochets, but that's fine, it'll fit around her neck better!

I have always wondered about that! Sometimes my stuff curves and sometimes it doesn't, such an obvious answer. Thanks!

LOL - I have the same yarn, but the scarf I made came out different!  But I did it in a single crochet, and worked 15 chains, and close to 200 rows, using a Lion Speed Hook.  I fell in love with the colors and made one scarf for my sister three states away - I ended up keeping it and making another to send her!   Tongue

If you use a hook one size bigger for the chain than the one you crochet with it can help with the curling.

Great scarf! I love purple...may have to get me some of that!
