I am doing a whole American Mcgee's Alice theme for Halloween this year.
My biggest accomplish so far is my DD's costume:

Now I need to work on the front yard.
Starting off with my interpretation of the Mad Hatter.
Using PVC pipe, Thrift store clothes, Polymer clay, Styrofoam head, Silicone, posterboard, and fabric.
Here he is:
Size comparison. My Son is 5'6

Oh my god, you are a genius!  I loved playing Alice, the Mad Hatter was so creepy in it.  That is just too awesome!

Hey thanks everyone. He's still in my front walkway waiting to go outside. I'm afraid if I put him out too early some evil SOB will take or break him.

I was wondering how you made the hat.
I used poster board for the hat itself. I cut it 1/4 way down put each pices into a cilinder shap and put the smaller piece in and tipped it forward coveredeach piece with fabric then hot glued it like crazy. I left a little fabric salvage at the top of the larger piece so I could hide the glues seems and make the "wrinkle" that covers it.
Next was just cutting out a few pices of cardboard to put inside the hat to keep the shape. Then I cut out the brim out of cardboard and wrapped it in fabric. After that I hot glued the 2 together then I hot glued it to his head.
