So, we've all seen the wonderful pac-man quilts that us craftsters come up with for their boyfriends/sons (or any other geeks in their life. However, when I decided to do something for my luvverrboyyy I wanted to be a little bit different.

So I made all the characters moveable, so if he wanted he could have a real game on it. I don't recommend trying this yourself. I nearly died from the ridiculous amounts of work I had forced upon myself.

But! It came out ok. So who's complaining now it's all over? (me! because he doesn't seem grateful enough*. giggle.)

I cheated and appliqued the blue onto the black. Patchwork seemed too much of a task to me.

All the characters are kept on by buttons. They have a handsewn button hole in their back layer of felt.

They're all hand stitched

I even popped in some cherries!

*he does really. We made a gif of it to show you all the quilt in action.

Wow, this rocks!
What a super awesome quilt! I love every detail of it, especially the buttons and the  ghosts. The gif is very cool!
Well, if your bf doesn't like the quilt, he can give it back! Smiley Maybe you shouldn't have given him the whole treasure at once, but make him earn every inch and every button of it Smiley

Hehe, thankyou all!

The buttons I made with super sculpey- then painted them all yellow.

I live in a small town with limited crafting stuff and the best I could find where these kind

and I decided they were too traditional for this project, also it'd have cost a small fortune for the amount I needed. Siiiigh!
