Awww I love the worried one.

Are they heavy?

They would be sweet paperweights if so, or awesome ornaments if they aren't

Actually they are super light. The base is just a Styrofoam ball and it's covered with paper mache.

Well, if this does not inspire somebody to set up a society for the ethical treatment and general protection of snowballs, I don't know what will...
I mean, just look at their little worried faces (or heads, or bodies, I'm not quite clear on snowball anatomy actually)

I saw a sculpture you did for a swap that went to onthinice, and was hoping you'd have it posted on your profile as well.  So cool!  I love eerie and eccentric art like that.   Wink

These snowballs are hilarious and adorable.  You are uber talented lady!   Grin

These are awesome. I really want to make some, I just bought a bunch of styrofoam balls over the weekend at the thrift store.
did you have any problems getting the paper mache to stick the styrofoam?

You know I don't remember. I suppose those smooth type styrofoam ballsmay cause a bit of a fuss but I'm sure you could wrangle them into shape in no time Wink

Cool  I think that they would look really cool lined up all in a row on a mantel above a fireplace or something.
