So my assignment right now for Projects class is 'image,' and I decided to use the fact that I originally came to art school for illustration, and blend that with the fibers work I'm doing now.

I drew up a page of comic art--

Then scanned it and reduced it to pixels (the whole page is about 280 pixels wide I believe) And now I'm knitting it panel-by-panel, pixel by pixel.

Work in progress, you can see my pixelly, gridded image.

First panel done, still needs to be blocked a little better, it bunched up a good bit.

Second panel is finished! Hurray! I'll be attempting to finish the rest during winter break, stay tuned~

Excellent work!  I'm impressed, with both the drawing and the knitting!

Wow, this is incredible.  I've had my knitting in front of me for months and all I've managed was to do was knit a grey square.  Congratulations on having patience.

Wow, that's amazing. I thought about doing that with some photographs of mine. I have a ton of questions. What are you going to make it into? A panel or wall hanging or something like that? What size needles are you using?

Your style is amazingly awesome!

It would be already awesome if it was just the comic book page, so on top of that the fact that you're knitting it? That's amazing awesomeness! Shocked  Post the final version on craftster whenever it is finished! Cheesy

I like penguins, stars, rainbows and blue.
If your project has any of these, don't be surprised to see me post in it! Cheesy
