So, how long did you cook the pot roast on high, vs on low?  It says you put it on high, left for work, and that your boyfriend came home at 5:00, and turned it to low... but not how long the time between was!  Hehe...   Cheesy

Sorry, it was on high from about 9-5 then low til 6.30 or so, so 7hrs high and 1.5 low.  It may have been ready before 6.30, but that's the first time I checked it, I think being on low probably just kept it hot til we were ready to eat it.

Wow, thank you for this thread! I have a couple of bottles of Guinness stout in my cabinet that I got sent home with after a party somewhere, but noone in my house drinks. I have hated the idea of throwing it away and have been trying to find something to do with it. That cupcake recipe looks really interesting, so I think I will give it a try!
