Hi there again! My brother in law had a baby boy, this is his first child. Since he served in the army, I thought it would be cool to do an army theme baby gift. I made a time capsule from a tin that I paiinted gold, copper and black. I then used some modpodge to help protect the paint. The bottom gold part is the tin, the copper & black part is an empty margarine tin turned upside down & glued on. I bought alphabet letters to make "Baby bullet time capsule" on the tin. I also sewed the baby booties on my sewing machine made from leather. I used a hole punch to make the eyes to lace up with leather strips. It was a free hand pattern that took me awhile to figure out since I'm new at sewing.

For being new at sewing you sure did an awesome job!  I make little army things for my little boy, but no clothes, mostly little knapsacks for him to put his "treasures" in  Smiley
