Autumn Thigh-highs Anyone?

I have a desire.. nay, a NEED to knit some thigh high legwarmers for the coming winter.
Does anyone wish to knit along?
I was thinking... Lion Brand has a free pattern #70782AD for 'thigh high socks'

I'll be starting as soon as I get my sock yarn in the mail, hopefully by wednesday =)

I am in on this as soon as I manage to get my yarn!  It won't be for another two weeks probably... since I have to transfer money into my Paypal account, and they're dying it custom for me... and then of course the time it takes to deliver it.

I plan on making them with a sock sort of style on the bottom, though... but without toes and without heels, so that I can have socks/legwarmers all together for my yoga classes!!

I'll post when I start, for sure!

I'm about 7 inches into my first leg! I am omitting the foot/heel part and starting at the ankle, using lion brand sock ease toffee colors...
they look good so far, and I am stoked! I wish I could knit faster though, and for hours at a time.

lunasblue-- i like frog prince colors. That looks like nice yarn at a good price, too. maybe for my next pair...

I ordered the yarn yesterday! I ended up going with Wicked Witch.
VERY EXCITED!!!! Hopefully by this time next week I'll have everything together and I'll be able to post a pic or 2?

Nice choice, lunasblue!  The yarn looks like a lovely option for the pattern!

I found out that my yarn is dyed and ready for me!  This is the yarn in all of it's glorious deliciousness!!

I probably won't have it here for until the end of next week.  But I will post pictures as soon as it's here, and as soon as I have started, I promise!
