I'm sure you can, ccath!  I won't be getting my yarn for another week.  And I have to finish another project by mid-November... so I'm sure this project will drag out a bit, and give you some time to catch up!

I won't be able to do this for a loooooong time.  I have a lot on my plate right now, but I did print out the pattern so if I do ever get to do this, I'll surely post my progress.

I finally ordered my yarn today!!  Hopefully I'll have it on Monday or Tuesday!!

I have to finish a scarf for my boy first, though... that needs to be done for mid-November.  I just started it last night... I hope it goes quickly.

Hi Everyone!
I got my yarn and started making my swatch.
Size 1 needles, no good, 2 no good, 3,4,5
FINALLY! Size 6 needles + 25 sts = 4 inches so I don't think these will take me too long to make?
Also, I was thinking of shortening them so they come just above the knee. I think I would wear them more if they were (not in the granny way) knee highs. I do think I will be incorping a cable though (instead of the holes at the side for ribbon)
I have 2 birthday parties to go to this weekend but I am hoping to really start this Sunday.

I bought some yarn yesterday for this knit-a-long. I hope it's still active. Now I just have to do me guage swatch and start knitting!

i finished number one and am 3 inches into legwarmer # two!
I'll admit... They are not full on thigh highs (I stopped at the knee), but my next ones will be.
Next time I think I will definitely knit in the round, it will go much quicker.

I received my yarn in the mail just the other day!  But I need to get out and buy some new needles, I think.  And I have to finish my scarf project for the boy, first... it has a time limit on it.  I'm about 20 inches into that so far... so as soon as that's done, and I can find some needles, I will be digging into this!
