Here is my new scrappy bag I completed today. Thanks to heartofmary for posting her beautiful bag and posting a link for a tute. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=271320.msg3063336#msg3063336
I added a zipper to mine and rounded the corners a little.

This is gorgeous!  I love the shape your purse has, and the zipper.  Looks great!

I agree. The Shape of the purse is perfect! I haven't checked out the link but definitely will and have to flag it as a TO-DO Project!

This bag is very nice...I like the rounded bottom and the zipper, however  I still have trouble with zippers in bags. Is your lined and if so what's the easiest way to do that?
And how do I attach handles to each side when there's a zipper?
Sorry for the questions...it's early...need more coffee..LOL

Great job on the bag!

Oh, I really like this.  Your zipper looks wonderful.  I have zipper envy.  I am no good at putting them in my bags.  I would love to make one of these in Amy Butler Lotus fabrics.

The zipper wasn't hard at all and it is lined with a couple of pockets. I used the same method from this tute http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=263673.0 except my straps are sewn on the sides . I sewed the straps on after i sewed the sides but not the bottom . Turn the bag right side out after you sew up the sides and with the lining and bag bottoms still open it gives room to get it under the machine and sew on the straps. After the straps are on turn it wrong side out and complete the bag by sewing the bottoms.

I scanned the pattern I made. It can be downloaded from here if anyone want to use it. Just download and print. I thought it may save a few minutes of having to make a pattern. Smiley http://www.mediafire.com/?ddugbymtgvo

It's a PDF file so it does require Adobe Reader.
