I made a neat discovery...

What started all this was that I bought a ceramic pumpkin candle holder set that was useless, because when you put the cover on, the flame went out.  So, to solve my rubbish candle problem, I went out to target and bought some flamless LED tea lights.  They're little flame shaped lights that flicker like real flame.  Once I got home though, I discovered a much more useful place for them...

Behind my handmade masks!  They look really awesome because they flickr like real flames, so you just have creepy glowing eyes with moody lighting.  I only had two fully made masks I crafted awhile ago, and I wanted a few more for cheap.

So with a simple craft mask and another tea light... I made more!

They're really cheap and really make a cool effect.  I'm thinking of lining a wall with a line of white ones when I throw my halloween party in a few weeks.  they make really swank wall lamps.

This would be great hanging from the inside of windows instead of having a plain pumpkin.

these are such an awesome idea!!

I'm terrified of masks, so I probably couldn't haven them in my house without having nightmares though =[

Do you have pictures of the masks that you made?? They look really cool from what I can see!

That is incredibly brilliant. I really hope I remember this the next time I go all out with Halloween decorations.
