I've been knitting for about 2 years, mostly hats and scarves but I got Naughty Needles a while ago and decided to try some of the patterns. This is a condom critter, with a little pouch on the outside and an inner pocket-cavity  thing for other stuff... I varied the stitching, instead of straight reverse St. I wish there was a way to knit it entirely in the round.
Main Body was a licorice yarn doubled with Misc. green yarn i got from Value Village, the legs and inner part were the same green. Eyes were just felt, beak was scrap from a quarter flat.
the legs/feet were my favorite part of knitting, an I-cord with little toeses.  Grin it makes the drawstrings for the inner part.
I'm going to send it to one of my friends who moved to Austin recently for Christmas.
