This is probably only the second legit usable thing i've sewn but i really loved the fabric and have been wanting to do this tutorial http://darnkat.wordpress.com/quilted-fabric-wallet-tutorial/
it was really easy to follow even for a newb like me. and turned out really well even though it looks a little (or a lot) more wonky then the actual pattern. i'd like to make another fixing some things that i didn't quite do right. but overall i'm preeeetty impressed with myself. Smiley

comments and crit welcome <3

close up of fabric

another close up. i'm so in love with this fabric. <3

So i happened to have some random scraps in my stash and had bought some halloween fabric and it matched pretty well so i whipped another one up.

thanks so much, i love the fabric SOOOO much. i'm not even a big butterfly person but loved it. I got the fabrics at this little quilting shop in Wichita KS. i just bought fat quarters of all of them. the really pretty fabric was the last fat quarter they had of it and i was totally inspired. but really that tute was freakkking awesome. i'm a total blonde and i only hit a rut on the snap part and that wasn't even a tutorial problem.
