I hardly ever have the patience for patterns, so that really is saying something for me. I made this purse for my college roommate. She loves green. She uses it constantly and that's a huge compliment to me. Unfortunately I did not bring the pattern to college with me, so I cannot tell you what it is, but I can show you pictures!



The patchwork for this baby took FOREVER. But it turned out pretty Smiley

I love this!  Do the striped flaps actually cross and tie to the body of the bag, or is it pieced?  And if so, what do the crossed pieces do?  Do they have pockets?  I'm so curious!

The flaps are supposed to look like petals. They fold over the bag and the binding attaches them, I think. They don't serve a purpose other than being pretty, but I bet they could be made into pockets. That's an interesting thought, actually...Smiley
