I just finished my first ever snuggly rag quilts for Christmas gifts. I haven't washed them yet to finish the rag effect. They are approx. 60 inches from head to toe. I used flannel as the inside layer instead of batting. That was suggested by my great quilting addicted friend Wink They went together really fast and easy. It's Simplicity 4993 pattern.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do Cheesy

hahaha. That's about as long as I've had my pattern and fabric. hahaha. Glad to see that I'm not the only "collector" Wink Using flannel instead of the batting made it go together really fast. They are really big too.

I have had my eye on this pattern for ages.  My little one is only 11 months old, so I was planning to make it for her in a couple of years time when she will really appreciate it.  Maybe i should get the pattern for future reference.  I love the ladybird pattern.

You have done a great job fun threads, well done.

Love the quilts. I also have the pattern, am slowing getting flannell when it is on sale super duper cheap.   I hope JoAnn's has their day after turkey day sale on flannel again this year!
