Yesterday was my cousins baby shower and I decided I would make her a gift. At first I was only going to make her some baby bibs, but then I decided to make a changing pad, bibs, and a diaper bag. She is also a student so I figure until the baby is born she can use it for college. I am still pretty new to sewing so there are a few mistakes but she really loved the gifts.

Changing pad. The back is fleece and it is covered with fusible vinyl.

the Velcro closure

The baby bibs, I made two of each print. It was pretty interesting making these, I am not used to doing curves so it was good practice.  Grin

This is the diaper bag.

Inside the bag. This was my first time making elastic pockets and zippered pockets

Oooo, elastic pockets.  I have to agree with Spank, those are gutsy.  I am afraid to try those, great job!

Did you use a pattern or tutorials for the great bag, changing pad or bibs??  I need to make all of those same things for one of my friends.  She is having a baby next month....
