I made this last year as an anniversary present for my boyfriend. He's a huge fan of Warhammer 40k, he has 3 or 4 separate armies, so I made him this geeky wall hanging!

It's made of cascade 220, and it's twined. The piece measures about 2ft by 1ft.

Thanks! My boyfriend was really really happy when I gave it to him. It took me about a month to knit.

omg that is so cool! My husband plays Warhammer: Age of Reckoning online, and used to play tabletop with his friends. I know one of his old buddies that would LOOOOVE that!

The lines are so clean on the icon, it looks great!

Very cute. My boyfriend also has 4 armies and when I showed him the post, he knew exactly what that was.

I love this! My boyfriend and I play tabletop 40k together and this would be so cool as a blanket.

It would be! The design is pretty small, but it wouldn't be all that hard to make it bigger using thicker yarn and a bigger gauge... This was done very very tight.

That is awesome!  I wish I had a g/f that made something like that for me.  Actually, I just wish I had a g/f.  Moving along...

I wanted to share my Aquila Imperialis.  Basically I had the idea and presented the rough concept to my mom and she used her fancy digital sewing machine to embroider it on a shirt.
I guess I cant link a direct image because I'm new, so here's a link: Aquila Imperialis
