OH MY GOD, what a PERFECT theme for a swap!

I literally just now realized that every time I play that game I feel completely inspired to make something crazy and fun.

If it could be after the holidays, I would be SO DOWN.

SO.  DOWN.

Thanks monkeyhouse! I know I can figure it out in crochet, but I don't know how I would put the zipper in because it'd be worked in rounds. Maybe I can just glue it.  Tongue Gotta love that glue gun!

I'm in the middle of making a crochet Sackboy using a pattern I bought on Etsy, but while digging around eBay today I also discovered that the upcoming January 2009 issue of Simply Knitting will feature an Alan Dart knitted Sackboy pattern.

I'm not really familiar with this British magazine, but maybe some of you living in more cosmopolitan areas can get a hold of a copy?

I would LOVE to do a sackboy swap. Besides you could always sew one, I mean they let you make the sackboys out of so many different materials that you could really make it however you were able. I think it would be fun to make a little costume to reflect the interests of your partner.

I am definitely going to be watching this post, and I hope that there is enough interest to put something together.

I'm still interested, too. I'd probably do a crochet or fabric one, but I'm up for it whenever it becomes official. Smiley
