my neighbor moved out today and was throwing out YARDS of this amazing skull lace printed  oil cloth!! Obviously i swiped it. Now on to the part where I would love ideas/patterns for what to make with it...


So far I have these ideas:
re-useable lunch bag
coasters
apron
shopping tote
placemats

I think I would have to make a rain coat out of that stuff it's soooo Fab.

Tote bag for sure, with some contrasting oil cloth in bright colors - maybe flowers.  I have an oil cloth tote bag and I use it all of the time!  For a purse, groceries, farmers market.  I love it and this find from your neighbor was a TOTAL SCORE!!!

If it is actual fabric on the back (rather than just the fuzzy stuff), you could make lots of baby items for people who aren't necessarily into the typical pink, blue, bunnies, bears, and puppies kind of stuff that's out there.

Bibs, little bags for wet clothes, diaper bags, etc.

a corset type top with this under the lacing would be sweet.
