This is a skirt that I made from a HUGE tie-dyed shirt.  I just cut the sleeves off and hemmed up the top and put in a strip of elastic

Once upon a time I made a boring, plain, black skirt.  Then one day I decided that I needed to use some fabric paint and paint a tile-mosaic-inspired-sun on it.

T-shirt skirt... awesome.  It's just too easy to be so cool.
I love that sun, it looks very professional.

I LOVE tie-dye! That t-shirt skirt is awesome. I just found a great way to tie-dye- i think i posted it as a reply to one of the party-planning threads- and now i have a whole bunch of tie dyed material just sort of laying around, begging to be made into something. thanks for the idea! That skirt looks great.
