Reality Bites, I have the teeth marks to prove it

I recently purchased a new truck. Well, it isn't exactly NEW, but it is new to me. The truck came with a heavy duty trailer hitch. Immediately after seeing the square hole in the back, my mental gears started turning. You see them everywhere, those store bought trailer hitch covers. There are tons out on the market ranging from boat props and dancing deer to simple sport team logos. Well, I wanted something different, so I made my own. And this time of year is the perfect time to find those oh so special items.

I made my first hitch cover with my favorite horror movie killer Jason (we have to stick together). With a simple nut and bolt through the chest and into the hitch plug, you have a one of a kind hitch cover. I even installed a camera on my plate to see when people get too close. Everyone wants to get an up close look at this guy.

Next, in keeping with the items found during Halloween season them, I wanted something to slip over those plain old trailer hitch balls. I wanted a hand and so be it, I got one. I had to put some wood dowels in the outer finger to keep them more in an upright position. Then, I used some fishing line and a needle to thread through the hand to keep the fingers down and in the position I wanted. Yeah, some other hand gestures came to mine, but the cops around here don't like that. In the mean time, THROW UP YOUR ROCK HAND. Party on.

Thanks for looking and enjoy.

I hope they both can be locked onto the hitch...because I bet someone's going to run off with this awesomeness if they aren't bolted on there!

I love boys who craft!

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

I like this idea.  I can't imagine how I'd react driving behind you.lol.  Be interesting to see some of the footage from that camera.
