its the creamiest vegan "ice cream" ever and you dont need soy or an ice cream maker. uh-huh!

the recipe is simple

2-3 chopped frozen bananas
a couple tablespoons of your favorite (natural!) peanut butter
a splash or two of water

blend it all together until creamy and smooth.

note:
i have a blend-tech blender, which is pretty strong. if you are just using a standard food proccessor, i recommend making sure your bananas arent rock hard.

ooh! jealous of your blender! I'm saving up for one, but it's in line behind the soymilk maker so it's going to take a while. I'll have to give this a whirl next time i buy bananas! They always seem to go bad too fast...

agreed. my pops just bought a box of approximately 20lbs of bananas. most were cut up and frozen for smoothies, because they ripen so freakin fast.

on another note: the raw restaurant in my area makes all their 'ice creams' this way. all the bases are banana and to that they add things like raw peanut butter, berries, raw cocoa powder, fruit etc etc. they make a really amazing banana split ice cream pie. mmmmm
