if you do do a collar, I think it should be big, dramatic and futuristic looking of course. -maybe tiered. Shoulder pads would be good too... although I think the way you're sporting it now is nearly perfect! You look just like his mini me sidekick, can't wait to see the bolt painted on! I'm from Mpls too! Won't be around town for the holiday though... wish I was so I could party with you Wink good luck!

That is AWESOME! I suggest cap sleeves but quilt them so it looks like rows of tubing kind of...hard to discribe what I'm thinking...but I think the quilting will look amazing and will make them a little stiff so they come straight out or up depending on how you sew them, from your shoulder - Anyhoo, whether you do that or not.  WIKKID costume!

Oh!  Regarding my man's Ziggy last year: we're in our mid-30s, but we ended up at a college party.  EVERYONE but one "kid" thought he was the David Bowie character from Labyrinth.  Ziggy is even a little before our time, but it was a bit disappointing for him that no one "got it" (in that it made him feel OLLLLLLD).  Wink  Luckily we also ended up at a party with our peers, most of whom recognized him.

Jumping on the bandwagon per the cap sleeves, but what if you also made long sleeves to wear under them that weren't connected to anything?  Like super long armwarmers?  I think it would work well with what you've got going on and you wouldn't have to worry about being cold.  And they would be easy to slip off if you were to warm.

You look brilliant, by the way.

That looks amazing! My vote is to screw the sleeves and stick with the version you already have - you'll need mobility in your arms in order to keep the fanboys at a safe distance.

Agreed!

Very awesome idea!  I love the idea of, like a big open collar on it.  As for taping, I recommend double sided outdoor carpet tape (very cheap for the big roll you get at hard ware stores)
