Jumping on the bandwagon per the cap sleeves, but what if you also made long sleeves to wear under them that weren't connected to anything?  Like super long armwarmers?  I think it would work well with what you've got going on and you wouldn't have to worry about being cold.  And they would be easy to slip off if you were to warm.

You look brilliant, by the way.

perfect idea! plus cap sleeves are easy so im on board! Wink ill do the arm wamer-sleeves too! ill keep everybody updated!

if you do do a collar, I think it should be big, dramatic and futuristic looking of course. -maybe tiered. Shoulder pads would be good too... although I think the way you're sporting it now is nearly perfect! You look just like his mini me sidekick, can't wait to see the bolt painted on! I'm from Mpls too! Won't be around town for the holiday though... wish I was so I could party with you Wink good luck!

im planning on going to the TML halloween thing at first ave. i went last year and it was a blast, everyone was dressed up- plus its inside so costumes dont need to be covered with a coat!

that deep neck line looks so good on you. im going for no sleeves but some sort of ruffly shoulder padding.. or something.. but it looks great as it is.. if ur feeling a bit lazy you could just leave it and no one would know you were going to add bits to it. lovely outfit!

i think a HUGE collar- or a cape (thats removable) so that u can wear it and still look very bowie and still stay warm ( and removeable so if ur too warm u can stuff it in ur candy bag Cheesy )

this is awesome.  you sizzle!  do the cap sleeves if you really want sleeves.  but go for a rockin scarf instead of the collar.  i think i remember seeing him wear a big silver gray fuzzy one that would be simple to knit up with some fun fur or other eyelash yarn.  great great job on your costume!!

First: YOU HAS A KICKIN' RAD BODY! /jealousy. lol.

Second: I think it looks good without sleeves. But if you think you'll need them to ward off frostbite, you could always go the detachable sleeve route. That way you can see how it looks with, and then if you don't like it, they can come off. Smiley

so where were the spiders....omg that is so amazingly cool!! I think a collar would rock! I heart David Bowie soo much, I have all his records.!! The wig looks very good and way to wear the deep v!!  Grin Cheesy

So you, could spend the morning walkin with me, quite amazed. As I am unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed.

I am so amazed. Bowie is my favourite!
I think it looks great with no sleeves. I also think it would look good with sleeves but if it's going to be too finicky(as sleeves usually are) I would just leave it as is.
That way you'll also have less of your body covered in lame and be less sweaty, sweaty under your costume is the absolute worst.
