I jumped on the bandwagon, too. It seems like everyone has a high-waist skirt now.

My roommate took the model-pose picture of me. Also notice my almost-ripe tomatoes in front of me (I've never been able to keep a plant alive long enough for it to bear fruit)

Anyway, this pattern has an amazingly hideous skirt pattern with a "bib", but also this lovely item. It was pretty easy to make, I'm still not an expert on making even pleats, but it turned out good in the end I think. I got the fabric on the clearance rack at Joann. I always seem to find the cuter fabric on clearance at Joann, the regular-priced stuff there can be so ugly I want to cry.

PS -- It's not working because you used the wrong link. Imageshack has changed how they display the various links, and now to get the direct URL, you have to click the "+ Advanced Linking" at the very bottom of the page. Thanks a bunch for the comments, it's a slow day at work, so it helps.
I almost used fabric-covered buttons on the front, but I saw these guys and thought it might make the skirt a little more interesting.
