I took a break from knitting this sweater I've been working on for eons and decided to knit a hat with some yarn I've been dying to make use of.
I didn't follow any pattern. Just went off on my own tangent, and this is what I came up with.  Cheesy
It's actually a little shorter than I would have liked it to be. I might unravel some of it to make it longer... and add a pompom. hehe

**modified: So I frogged it a smidge and made it longer, and added a pom pom!

I also posted the pattern on my blog!
Enjoy!!!
  Cheesy

The colors on this are so yummy.
The white really makes the different pink shades pop.
I love it.
I tend to make my hats too short all the time too.  I think I'm just too eager to get them done and try them on.   Roll Eyes
& Definitely add the pompom.  You can't go wrong with a pompom.

Gorgeous. I love the pink and purples against the white, and I agree on the pompom issue: you need one! Would you maybe be willing to figure out and post the chart you used?

This hat is gorgeous, the colors are great and it's shaped perfectly...great job for knitting without the aid and guidance of a pattern. Fair Isle rocks.
