I bought a mustard colored pillowcase at Savers the other day. -It's an extra long one. So, I turned it vertical, cut out a boat scoop for the neck, and two arm holes. Added a vintage cinch belt and VOILA:

It was so quick and easy! -I definitely plan on making a lot more of these. If you decide to make one, do share it! I want to see Cheesy

I love this idea! I'm so jealous that would never work on my because of my curvaceous hips, but it looks fabulous! If you make more you should try different necklines and such! Smiley

AWESOME! Thats a good idea for making kids dresses too out of smaller pillow cases. Its amazing that you literally ouff off wearing bed linens.

This is great and so simple! I love it!  Grin  I'd love to try it but I'm afraid my hips are going to be too wide for it.  Undecided

So cute, now I want to run to a thrift store and find a cute pillow case to try it out for myself.

One question though, did you finish the edges at the sleeves/neck or leave it raw?

Left it raw! It was a pretty high thread count case, so when I cut it nice and clean there was no fray action. Just wash n cut! no sewing needed... although next time I plan on making a belt to go with it which would definitely require some sewing Wink

go for it, I can't wait to see yours!
