Awesome! I'm with whomever else said they're making their costume anyway so might as well enter. I'm making mine and my husband's costumes this year and they're all matchy-matchy so I suppose I'll enter them as a pair.

Can't wait to see what everyone's looks like!! *hops*

This will be the second year I've made Halloween costumes. The first time was my first ever try at sewing back in high school and they were pretty horrific... lol. Like, not in a good scary Halloween way, more like a "oh my God, did they really leave the house looking like that??" way.

Lol, this reminded me of a halloween contest they had when I was in high school... two girls showed up as a tampon and a pad...complete with um red stuff...  They did NOT win by the way. They were sent home as soon as a teacher spotted them.  I have my costume made already, but it definately does not fall in the original or unique category, so I will just sit back and view all the awesomeness and plan for next year! lol.

If I can get my act together, I'll be entering this challenge too.

I'll have to remember this.. I just finished my stepdaughter's Halloween outfit... she is going to be  Halloween fairy... complete with hair accessory and treat bag.

I can't wait to see the submissions for this one. My hubby and I just want to stay home and watch cheesy 80's horror movies. But maybe I will enter this next year, if there is a costume challenge.

i wanna add another vote to the *make this a yearly challenge* pool...my sister (who has an account on here, but i am her craft link so she hasnt been on in like a yr) is gonna enter her and her hubby and i am gonna enter me and the dogs

i wanna try to make costumes every year, cos its fun and dressing up is like the last little kid thing that is ok for grown ups too

wow cool. i probably wont make something spectcular, i was thinking of a Renji cosplay with a knitted wig and handmade rest of stuff or a ninja stuff.........mostl y the first, maybe.

I came on here looking for techniques to complete the head piece for my costume. Which is totally original. And I think I will be entering my first challenge this time around.

While I'm here anyone have any ideas on how to make a She-Ra-like crown but more delicately??? I think I have this worked out, but can use any ideas you all have.
