I think I have a similar pattern but it's Mccalls  Unfortunately I don't DO buttons so I've only admired the cover for now.
If you are looking for actions shots I have a willing babe who would look great in any of them  Grin

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.

You could use velcro or did you ever try snaps you can get the ones that come with the applicator or you can get that thing that looks like vise grips I think it is a grommet tool maybe, I have yet to try buttons I am chicken.
you can download McCall's version 2213 of this here, it says size sm-xl but I'm not sure how big there xl would be it's only $4.99

Yes!  Velcro would be easy to stick in there; when you reverse the outfit, your straps may be inside-out, though.

No bias tape here! Just an easy pattern with 2 pieces.

As for McCall's 5353, it looks like only a teeny-tiny size (through 1yr), but I'll keep looking.  I think it would look cute as a top/tunic or dress (if longer) till age 4 even.

It looks a lot like a pinafore top that I made for my niece ... which never got to her but I made it! I have the pattern laying around someplace... I'll have to look... but that's what it looks like to me.
