After seeing medli's yeti (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=260406.0) I decided to try to make my own.  I bought some discounted leopard print fabric from wal*mart and after about 7 hours of hand sewing and making a few mistakes:

Isn't he cute?!

I made him for a friend's baby (he was a great baby shower gift), so I stitched my initials (LC) on his foot so no one can say they made him  Tongue

The parts of him that are not leopardy are made out of regular old felt I had laying around.  Overall I am really happy with how he came out.  Not bad for one of my first stuffed animals!

i really like it, especially the animal print fabric. It looks much better than my first attempt @ a stuffie.

Man people on craftster rock my socks clean off. (Not that I ever have socks to put on because I've turned them all into monsters/creatures/monkeys.)

This guy is soooooooo cute!!! Yeti's rock.

Definitely the cutest Yeti I've ever seen.  He looks super cuddly and I bet the baby will like stroking his fur!  My cat would probably snuggle up to him if he ended up at our house.

He's very cute.  I have a friend in Nepal who hasn't told me his story on the Yeti.  My list of projects is growing.
