Oh yeah, I don't want anyone having to have their name in red - it will spoil my nice greeny blue colour scheme Smiley so you girls behave!

Woooweee, I received, I'm going through all my stuff and will post pics asap Cheesy

EDIT
Sad Sad I've been looking for my camera for 3 hours, my DH finally admitted he thinks it was stolen during our move but didn't want to tell me because he thought I'd find it while unpacking. How crappy is that. I'll hook up my web cam to take pics of all this amazing stuff. She said she sent a "few" extras...a FEW!!! Goodness! I have to take a pic quickly so I can eat some of the edibles yum yum yum.

Edit again...
Ok y'all are going to HAVE to excuse my web cam piccies. BUT...be ready to be jealous Cheesy

(all my goodies together)

My little grocery bag to add to my handmade non-plastic ones Smiley  It says AlHubb which means "Love" or "to love" - I love it!

Some of my extras, 2 different types of hummus (one's gonna be eaten tonight Cheesy ), a peace sign patch, a pretty green candle, some lovely Stash tea, and my favorite little note holder - so cute! I am TOTALLY stealing this idea for any holiday presents!

A lovely journal with the word "Sister" written in hebrew on it, I also loved this, so cute. Some lovely jars for keeping spices OR sewing supplies (which is what I'm going to do with them), and a hebrew phrase book.

A super cute ring made of felt and a israeli coin, I love it...

and the scarf and bag together

and my FAVORITE....a gorgeous scarf made in the style of a prayer scarf, made from beautiful fabric from Israel. I adore this, and I can't wait to wear it!

I totally feel like a meanie because I didn't send ANY extras  Sad I was in such a rush to get the package out at the last minute that I totally neglected including any extras, how lame am I. I hope israeli_chic still enjoys the items I made for her and that she forgives my non-extras oversight. I will TOTALLY remember that for my next swap  Shocked

And sorry ladies for the ultra long post and overload of pics Smiley

Oh I'm so glad you liked it!!  Grin I'm so sorry if I went overboard =( I was just so excited for my first swap! I can't wait till tomorrow when I can pick up your package!

P.S: I'm glad I was right with the Arabic...I kept trying to draw it out first until my room mate and boyfriend finally agreed that it looked right  Cheesy

LOL Well you wouldn't believe the number of "arabic" tattoos I've seen on people where I'm just like  Shocked  but that was pretty fabulous! You did a great job!!!

Oh wow, thats a brilliant parcel! I love the scarf lots and lots, but I think my favourite is the 'sister' notebook and the coin ring, they are really great.

Plus, who wouldn't love tea and hummus!

Great job Israeli_chic!

Ahhh! I got to pick up my package this morning from bezoona! I was so excited when I saw all the cute stuff she sent =)

Here are some pictures! Picture heavy!

A sweet birthday card  Smiley

Really cute Arabic glass magnets that are already on my fridge!

Evil eye magnets that are going in my office for good luck!

Belly button jewel art that I think my boyfriend will like a lot Wink

The cutest baubles ever! I love the mini evil eye charms...my room mate is threatening to swipe them!

And an awesome purse! It is so pretty and I've already started using it!

Thank you so much for being a great swap partner Bezoona! I love everything!

Its funny that we were the ones who got the parcels first Cheesy

I'm glad you like everything! I am obssessed with the evil eye, its the first thing I hang up everytime we move to a new place Cheesy The one you always see and find beads of are always the turkish style ones, and I don't think most people have seen the Iraqi one, its still that same blue color, but has 7 holes instead of an actual eye. These ones are cuter as beads for bracelets or earrings. I find though that they are super cheap quality usually. Those ones for the phone or handbag bauble I got from Turkey actually, they were still not the best quality but better than any of the ones I've seen here in the States.

I can't wait to see everyone elses stuff!

I've received today! Therisa totally spoiled me rotten! I will be posting pics tonight after I buy batteries for my camera.  Grin

Oh and I love the prayer scarf and that purse! Beautiful!

And bezonna, do you have any links about the evil eye stuff? I'd like to learn more on the subject. My belly dance teacher told us last week to never point our palms at someone while dancing because it's a sign of the evil eye, I had never heard of that before.
