I claim kinkyknit for Kitsch and/or fabulous fabric Smiley This is my 1st claim this round and I'm in the UK.

I love natural fibres, plaids and muted colours (brown, grey, navy, greens) Recycled/thrifted materials are always cool with me!

Crafts

A slouchy winter hat (I love designs like this) in grey or brown. If it was cotton or a cotton blend that'd be extra wonderful!

A tea towel or set of tea towels embroidered with a little owl in the corner.

I have this super-cute notepad and would like something that holds it and a pen (perhaps this sort of construction although it wouldn't need a fastener and I'd prefer a more plain, darker fabric.)

Notepads/journals. I like big ones, (A4-ish) these look great: comb-bound notepads.

I rent a room so something with a flat bottom to carry my makeup, shampoo etc to the bathroom would be great (perhaps a fabric bucket, box bag or mini hamper?)

Supplies

Dried lavender/other fragrant botanicals.

I would love some nice leather-ish shoulder straps to make myself a special bag.

Magnetic bag snaps

Christmas fabric (anything that's not really religious or really kiddy-ish would be great!)

I'd really love the book 'Claires Cats'

Iron-on interfacing (medium/heavy weight).

A large black ink pad. Pre-used is just fine!

Clear-pocket display folders - for storing fabric scraps.

Extras

Green/fruity tea (I especially love 'Celestial Seasonings' from the US)

Reese's caramel peanut cups (for my mom who loves them Cheesy)

Thank you whoever picks one of my wishes!

UPDATED!        UPDATED!          UPDATED!          UPDATED!          UPDATED!         UPDATED!

I'm addicted2knitting and I live in Michigan (USA). I am still an avid nature lover and my deepest wish is to live on a lake or river someday. I am starting to get anxious for snow.  I LOVE snow.  Favorite color: blue.  I love the blue shadow you see on the snow on a sunny day in the deep woods. I like all colors, really, except the neon stuff.  I like the poetry of Mary Oliver and sometimes dream of becoming a poet, but then, who would watch the kids?

Crafted

This hat in green and white: http://crochetme.com/patterns/turtle-shell-hat

Scarflette:  http://crochetme.com/patterns/circle-scarflette

There are two pendants in the OWS 38 gallery: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=266771.30; the tree of life is gorgeous (nice work, holliewood) and bkrenning's creation is not only intriguing, but inspired.  I would treasure either of these or anything inspired by them!

A cupcake to be used as a pincushion:  http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/2007/08/14/bake-me-a-cake/

For my office:  a poster or embroidery or a painting (etc. - you decided)  that says "PICK FLOWERS, NOT FIGHTS!"

Another "poster" idea:  Rules for success  1.  Show up.  2.  Behave.  3.  Do your work.  4.  Tell the truth.

I use a small moleskine notebook in my purse but sometimes can't find a pen.  This is a great cover: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=14383342

crafty notecards/stationary I love to include a little note in my swap packages and love the little notes I receive from swap partners -- I don't even need envelopes, but I really have enjoyed using the cards I've received in swaps FOR swapping!  Thank you Velvet Rose![/b]

armchair thread catcher/pin cushion thing weighted on the inside of the chair so I dont lose it on the floor?  Or pinnable?  I am forever getting bits of floss and felt and yarn all over the floor and need something handy!  THANKS, SANSA!  (I'm so excited!  You have no idea!)

fabric covered tacks
http://www.designspongeonline.com/2008/02/diy-project-fabric-covered-thumbtacks.html  (these are adorable!)

your rendering of my jack russell terrior in paint, embroidery, watercolor, pencil . . .

my elephant is lonely and really wants to hang out with the hippo on my wists!

A wallet I like this design, though Im not crazy about the vinyl.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=259721.0

I'm going to claim A2K for a Tree of Life necklace. (It's kinda my specialty after all! Wink  )

This is my first claim this round/none sent/none received.

I'm a 31 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats. My favorite colors are jewel tones like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber. I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.) My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy. I also love things that go along with the "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together. My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins and bats.

ALLERGIES: I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchoulli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

There are two cats in my home but it's non-smoking. I mention it because it's pretty impossible to keep some level of cat fur from going along in packages. (Sorry)

~ * ~ Crafts ~ * ~
- *BIG WISH* Something with a phoenix. (plush, art, shirt, pillow - anything!) It's my favorite mythological creature and hard to come by. (Need some inspiration? Check out the phoenix items on my wist) Thanks to Urvi and Cya for awesome phoenix items in previous rounds. More is always welcome though!

- *BIG WISH* An apron like this or this especially if it were in teal blue and chocolate brown colors. (Or used like cute owl fabric or such.)  Note: I wear about a US woman's size 4 in clothing but if you need specific measurements, just ask!

- Something from my Wist. I try to keep it well stocked with drool-worthy crafts.

- Something incorporating owls, penguins or bats. I LOVE all three of those critters.

- Fused glass, glass (microscope) slide or resin pendants you think I'd like.

- Something that's in my favorite color combo of teal blue and chocolate brown.

- Something for my apartment. You know, home decor type accessory or item. Ooh, or maybe a throw/lap quilt or something. (Bonus if it's in teal blue and chocolate brown because my living room is in those colors!)

- *BIG WISH* Something stained glass. I just love stained glass and wouldn't even know where to begin making it myself.

- Something ceramic like pottery or vase or whatever. Again, a skill I don't have but love.

- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft (but preferably not wool because it itches me) I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. (HUGE bonus if it's argyle pattern. I don't know why but I love argyle.)

- A small purse of some sort. I'm open to your inspiration. Needs to be large enough to hold my glasses case (about 7" long.) I'd just like to have something cool and handmade! (There are a few on my wist as well.)

- A pair of knitted "knucks" like these.

- Something Disney themed. Be it park themed, or Mickey, or another movie character, or historical (like Walt or something), etc. I love all things Disney (and Pixar!) and regularly go to Walt Disney World!

- Something plush or soft stuffed that's an adorably cute animal or critter (but not a doll please.)

~ * ~ Craft Supplies ~ * ~

- Starter resin kit/supplies

- *NEW* sewing box or some way to organize my newly developing sewing accessories and items.

- Pendants, charms and/or centerpiece items for use in jewelry making. Especially nice, large stones or other natural materials.

- *BIG WISH* Copper foil tape. Used in making microscope slide pendants and other glass projects. I can't find it anywhere!

- Starter kit or supplies to carve my own rubber stamps

- Polymer clay tools (like molds or cutters, etc.)

- A fabricgasm.  Grin Hey, people ask for yarn that way, so why not? I'm just learning to sew, so any kind of cool, cute, animal, Japanese, otherwise neat fabric would be cool. Maybe even some fancy designer stuff to horde. I've also seen Ikea fabrics that are cool.

~ * ~ Extras ~ * ~
- I'd love to try some international candies and/or chocolate. Bonus for things that are pineapple flavored. Nothing coconut or coffee flavored though please.

- Pocky. I've had chocolate and strawberry, but I'd love to try other flavors.

- Teas (herbal/fruity are my favorite)

- Beading magazines (I don't have any and it seems like it'd be fun to browse through at projects and ideas.)

THANKS!!  Grin

I claim Banga for a jewellery stand

This is my first claim, of a potential 3

About me: Im 21, a grad student (my BA was in History, my MSt is in Jewish Studies), and live in the UK. I do beading, embroidery and sewing, and make occasional forays into other crafts when I want to make something. Oh, I also bake cakes.

Crafts

- A (sewn) winter bonnet like this: http://www.prayercoverings.com/catalog.php?item=54&catid=3&ret=catalog.php%3Fcategory%3D3
My ears get very cold

- a knitted/crocheted winter bonnet like these (Lisette or Winter Lisette): http://www.rachelsmodesty.com/womensheadwear.html

- knitted/crocheted gloves/hat/scarf (I dont mind which) to give as a Christmas gift (Im Jewish so I dont celebrate, but most people I know do so I need to get them presents. Its a gift, so Id prefer quality to quantity!)

- a pair of gloves for me! Im allergic to wool though

- a BIG ask one of those dinosaur hats with the tiny body and the head eating your head. I cannot find the picture Im looking for on craftster, but it was a featured project I think. Every year I give my brother a novelty hat, because hes convinced he has a bald patch. Hes 23, and he doesnt. He does have a very big head though, Ill PM the measurements.

- handmade soap, again to give as a gift. Im not too fussy about the type! Although, not too pink and glittery its for grown-ups

- something quilted

- a cute sleeping mask, like http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=250285.0 , http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=186137.0,  or that pretty Audrey Hepburn one that I cant seem to find

- squashed cat coasters

- Something from my wist: http://www.wists.com/tzipporahfeiga (though, not the play food please)

- cupcake bath bombs, but only if you think theyll survive the journey to the UK still looking pretty, as theyd be a gift

- on the off-chance that there is a Jewish papercutter out there, any example of you work Smiley (http://www.moderntribe.com/judaica/Jewish_Home/Art/paper_cut_Chai_Bat_Mitzvah for an example of what papercutting is)

Craft Supplies

- soap making supplies Id love to try making soap, so anything to get me started!

- fabric with funky prints we get really naff fabric in the UK. Sock-monkey-themed would be a bonus!

- embroidery stuff floss, hoops, anything really. Im a relative beginner. So far I have: 2 needles, an 8-inch hoop, scissors, some floss.

- an embroidery book Ive been learning from squinting real hard at real embroidery and hoping for the best!

- Jewish-themed charms

- Maybe a starter kit to learn to make resin jewellery? All the cool kids seem to be doing it.

- a long shot, but in case you live in an asian neighbourhood an inexpensive abaya or jilbab, or a long, modest dress of that type, that I could embroider myself. A thrifted one would be fine

- interesting cookie cutters (especially Jewish-themed ones) check out my wist, or use your judgment

- one of those cool boiled-egg molds

- sublime stitching Craftopia pattern

Extras:

- Kosher candy! Its not easy to get here in the sticks.

- white peanut butter cups for my brother

Thanks for choosing me!

I claim sophieangele for Jewish themed charms!

First claim, none pending
I'm a 20 year old art student, living at home. I'm in broadway city, aka NYC. I LOVE Sci-fi TV, especially anything by Joss Whedon (Firefly, Buffy, Angel). Dr. Who/Torchwood are also a weakness...  I  love coffee, the color green, chocolate, jasmine, and frogs. Oh yeah, and mint, LOVE mint.

Wishlist:

Crafted:
- A messenger bag
- a paintbrush roll
- a hand-decorated (or handmade) sketchbook
- Soaps! I like handmade soap.
- Small wooden drawers
- A Magnetic Hematite bracelet
- Firefly-themed anything
- Buffy/Angel themed anything
- A winter hat
- Wooden/Stone Hamsa necklace on leather cord
- Geeky T-shirt

Supplies:
- Ceramics/pottery tools
- Magnetic Hematite (any color)
- Wax for candlemaking
- Cork board
- Polly Pocket dolls (the old ones that are like an inch tall, not the new sort. You know, the ones that are a choking hazard!)
- Clay. Not polymer or modling, just clay.
- Green tea. Pure crushed green tea powder. (like from an Asian market or something...)

Extras:
- 1" buttons (the pin kind, not the sort for sewing on shirts)
- Chocolate never hurt anyone...
- Flavored tea is amazingness. Especially mint.
