I claim Ruby Copperhead for a R2D2 stuffie!
This is my 3rd claim, 0 sent, 0 received
Hi my name is Lori and I live in Long Island, New york.
I have 3 boys...
Jimmy- age 12 almost 13 yikes! (almost a teenager). He is tall and slim. He loves to listen to music, skateboard, and play xbox360.
He wears a pattern size 14 and retail size 16 bottoms
pj pants with a music, skulls(like tattoo looking fabric not pirate) or skateboard theme would be great.
a case for his Ipod touch made from felt or fabric would be very cool.
It also get pretty cold here in the winter so a knitted or crochet hat and scarf would keep him toasty
He has reading glasses so a quilted eyeglass case with some cool fabric would be fabulous.
He would love some surfer/skater type necklaces or bracelets (the leather cord and it has a cool charm or shell or picture hanging from it) or something made out of hemp
My Sean- is age 7
He wears a pattern size 8 and retail size 8 in clothing. he loves star wars, dinosaurs, sharks, spongebob & Ben10
pj pants- any boy theme
Monster stuffies- some Ben 10 alien like stuffies would be awesome
a cool bank- any medium, just boyish would be good.
he plays football, so something with a football theme like pillow, pillow case, quilt, pencil case
absolutely anything STARWARS and I mean anything.... He loves everything starwars related
draw string back pack like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=cat3_gallery_8&listing_id=14137083
a rocket ispy bag like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_1&listing_id=14154809
A fleece hat like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15593864
a superhero cape like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=cat1_gallery_21&listing_id=14746917
( his brother received a rockin cape in the last swap, so someones a little jealous) thanks again Sajona!
My Tyler is 6
He wears a pattern size 8 and retail size 8 (he's my little chunky monkey)
He loves skateboarding, Ben10 and everthing Disney.
pj pants- Disney theme of some sort would be nice.
stuffies- any type of fun monster or alien he just loves them! He still needs to sleep with something at night (shhh don't tell anyone)
he loves to wear hats! so any type of fleece, knitted or crochet animal or monster hat would be fun
He has a bean bag toss game that he loves and he would love to have some new bean bags to toss around (finishes size 4x4) would be great.
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=12984448
an eye spy game would also be nice.
a long sleeved embellished shirt would be awesome.

We'll have an R2D2 stuffie, we'll have an R2D2 stuffie *dances*
Err... I claim brilor for "absolutely anything Star Wars"
or let's make that "something"
in case the "anything" wasn't exactly a wish
I'll go for the hat & scarf set for Jimmy.
Hm, I seem not to have the hang of claiming yet
"who let that newbie loose in our swap?"
This is my 2nd claim, 0 sent, 0 received
I am a mom of two great boys. I'm a she-nerd chaos machine, and I have passed this on to my lovely little nerdy chaos generators. Crafting is what keeps me going. And coffee
We live in Germany.
The Big M: 7 years old, loves computers, trains, maths, sports and reading, volcanoes, food charts (although I don't want any goodies of that), Star Wars toys and LEGO and Playmobil. Favourite TV shows are Lazy Town and Vicky the Viking, Pettersson & Findus, Shaun the Sheep, Kim Possible and Nils Holgersson. Favourite Films include Monster Inc., everything Winnie the Pooh, Shrek, and Ice Age.
Favourite bands are Queen, Gorillaz and Prodigy (no, he is not allowed to see their video clips Smiley and his English is not yet good enough to understand the lyrics Smiley ). Favourite color is blue.
Wears size 128.
The Middle M (there is no smaller one, but we are not allowed to call him small Smiley): 5 years old, loves trains, train schedules, Benjamin Bluemchen, cats, and music, music, music. Favourite toys are LEGO and Playmobil, blankets, pillows and stuffies, and everything related to transport. Favourite TV shows and movies are same as his brother's, plus Sandmaennchen. Likes all kinds of music. Slight preference for red, orange and green.
Wears size 104, moving up to 110 soon.
Their bedroom is jungle-themed, in primary colors, mostly green. There's a train's sub-theme (actually, we have that in every room Smiley )
________________
A word about German clothing size system: It refers to the height of the kids in centimeters, increasing in steps of 6, like for example: 104, 110, 116, 122, 128 etc. Sometimes I get US clothes for the kids and my experience is that they can wear clothes that are their age +1, but better ask before deciding upon a size.
For most things, matching sets would be very nice, so if you want to pick the same item in two claims, or claim two, please do.
Please consider that anything my kids get to handle must be robust, that is everything must be sewn on tight and good, as we are all clumsy folk, and the little, eh, middle one is still not out of poking age.
No camouflage or war themed stuff please.
___________________ __
Hoodies (please PM me for head size, they have laaarge heads)
knitted hooded vest or sleeveless hooded jacket
papoose leather slippers (can give you patterns)
Anything themed to their favourite TV shows or movies, esp. stuffies or amigurumi
for example stuffies or pillows similar to these:
Stuffies from Gorillaz, esp one of Noodle when she wears her headphones (they'll never grow out of something that's so cool)
themed pillowcases for 45x45cm
From LazyTown:
A Pixel shirt
A Sportacus hat (must be very soft) or scarf or anything Sportacus wears
A wall hanging for putting mittens in (preferably Ice Age/prehistoric themed, but every design is okay)
A volcano stuffie / pillow, or a volcano tote to keep our toy dinosaurs in it
I couldn't not include this: the R2D2 stuffie
I've been claimed! Yeah!
A crafting bag for a boy (yeah right!) with possibly a reference both to crochet and spiderman or batman or one of the abovementioned themes, so that he can keep his crochet stuff (first monster purse on the way) somewhere really cool
themed Pyjamas or T-Shirts
Viking garb (everything but the tunics, as we already have these)
They have a fireman suit and helmet, but accesories are welcome (crochet fire extinguisher or fire extinguisher stuffie?)
cotton blanket with windows in it (to hang up for making a house), windows should be able to be closed
a cover for small matresses (vocabulary problem, sorry, but I can describe it: It should cover the whole matress not just the top, and be closed with a zipper or velcro, and the size is about 70x70x15cm (please ask for exact size, and if you need the size in inches)
ADDED:
a monster bag
a Findus bag or purse
anything related to soccer
anything related to Astrid Lindgren novels
anything related to trains, esp. ICE (German high velocity train), TGV (French high velocity train) or steam engines
any clothing with big numbers on for Middle M
and, as we can't buy glow-in-the-dark-colors in Germany, if you have any, maybe you can do anything cool with it (for example, we can buy small glowing items, like stars, but we don't have a glowing spaceship to match the stars in the kid's room, or an owl. or something like that)
and for my nephew and niece I am looking for Digimon amigurumi or stuffies, and tool belts.

I claim Ruby Copperhead for a stuffed Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. We'll see how well I can do.
This is (1,0,0) for me this round.
I’m a 31 SAHM of two. Olivia and Ben . We live in Ohio, USA Both of my kids are taking after me a little and love crafts. They are used to me getting packages in the mail and have been asking to get their own.
Olivia is 7 and in second grade. She has been taking karate for 2 years and LOVES it. She is rather serious about it and her goal is her black belt. She's about half way there. Although she is very tough in class, she has a quiet gentleness to her. Like most little girls, she loves twirly dresses, fingernail polish, and hair accessories.
Ben is 4 ¾ and all BOY. He is a ball of energy. He too has just started karate classes and seems to really enjoy them. Ben loves (not even a big enough word.) trains. He always has, and I have a feeling always will. He is FUNNY, just one of those naturally goofy kids.
I also have a niece and nephew that are 4 and 1 that I may list things for. Actually I have 10 nieces and nephews but most much older.
And for the stuff:
Stuffies- funny, goofy non-normal ones
Felt food- we have pizzas. Would love sandwiches, ice cream, tacos...etc.
t-shirts with something either embroidered or painted on...guitars, trains, cars, karate, boy things size 5 (long sleeves would be good too)
girlie things, princess, crowns, cupcakes, hearts, anything karate Size 8 girls.
Bath scrubbies
my biggest wishes right now are:
PJ pants for Ben size 5
Nightgown or pj pants for Liv size 8
Chore chart
-thank you Sajona
Finger puppets to tell one of the good ol’ stories. Goldilocks, Red riding hood, 3 little pigs…or any bible story
Puzzles…you can find blank ones and color on them. Train themes, karate themes, or some funky patterns
Voice volume controls. I haven’t been able to figure out how to make these or I would already made them.
Homemade playdoh
Magic wands
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=253250.0
:update. I have one for Liv, but Ben would still love one.
I spy bags
Headbands with the long fabric tails.
Cool barrettes (this kid has seriously thick hair, so your normal plastic barrettes won't work. they have to be this kind.
http://www.craftsetc.com/store/item.aspx?ItemId=85948&dep=85&cat=24&subcat=5&Search=Y
Anti-fighting spray. You know you spray the cat if it is doing something you don’t like…I need something I can spray the kids.
Sajona is also supplying me with some of this...how funny.
Supplies
The kids love having their own drawer of craft stuff. This way I’m not yelling “DON’T TOUCH THAT!”

I claim summertimerolls for one set of pj bottoms for Ben (we'll see how long they take me to do).
This is my first claim of three allowed this round, none shipped, none received.
A little bit about us. We are from Maine and spend A LOT of time outdoors; we hike, bike, walk, geocache, and explore. Our newest activity is biking/riding in the royal carriage (read ride in the bike trailer behind mommy and give directions on how fast/slow mommy is going). We are a fairly crafty family. My ten year old loves bold colors and crafting unusual/different things out of craft materials. My middle child likes pinks, purples, and browns as well as elephants; she also likes anything we call a craft project. My youngests--who turned 2 several days ago) loves monkeys and soft fabrics.
Crafted Items:
Some wrapples for our lunches--pears would be nice as well (pearples?)
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=14455093
A cowl like this
http://www.craftleftovers.com/blog/archives/433
to fit a 10, 4, and/or 2 year old. ANy colors except pink for the the two year old. It would also ahve to be non itchy yarn or it would never get worn.
A felt pencil case like this
http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.3a0656639de62ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=781f8b6244277110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&vgnextchannel=66f3802fb632c110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&lnc=66f3802fb632c110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=organizing+tip+of+the+day_recipe_b
We strongly prefer wool felt but would be open to pretty much anything
Knitted Hats to fit my children. The youngest is two, middle is four, oldest is ten--heads slightly bigger then average for the two year old and ten year old.
Colorful sock monkey
Felt Food (Sandwhich, Pizza, Breakfast Items, Produce)
Tote bag or bags with an outer pocket for bed time (a pocket for a book and a pocket for pjs). The oldest likes bold colors and animal prints. The middle child likes butterflies, purples, pinks, and browns. The youngest likes monkeys and soft fabrics.
Anything from/inspired by my wist:
http://www.wists.com/girlosun_9
and there are a lot of ideas here, please feel free to craft something you would like to craft!
Gocco Cards with envelopes. Deer, owls, trees, acorns, and/or pretty much anything nature inspired. We are big on writing to friends/family and the children use these cards for that as well as for writing birthday letters.
Felted beads
Another I Spy Bag as we drive in the car quite a bit to geocache and go on hikes/bike rides
A scale model of the solar system that I can hang from the ceiling that isn't plastic
A pendant making kit (for the eldest, this is what she wants to make for Christmas gifts for her friends) like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15000148 or this http://www.makeandtakes.com/links/scrabble-tile-pendant-tutorial
or this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=14928442
I never thought I would be saying this (as our middle child was toilet trained at just over a year and our oldest came to us at 4) but cloth diapers to fit a two year old. Our two year old just isn't interested in toilet training.
And I know these are both huge but if anyone wants to make either of them, we wouldn't object
A fabric dollhouse like this
http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2008/08/fabric_dollhouse_tutorial.html?CMP=OTC-5JF307375954
or
a set like this
http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66029
Anything train related for the two year old.
Supplies:
Diamond Glaze (my oldest is making magnets and likes the dimension it gives them)
Yardage of fabric featuring elephants (not circus please) or monkeys or anything forest like (cute forest not actual forest) or novelty (lemons, goldfish, bikes, etc.)
This fabric for a quilt/pillowcase/and or wallhanging for my middle child
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=14833775
Linen→Used or Thrifted pretty much any color (the middle child does A LOT of embroidery)
Anything from/inspired by my wist:
http://www.wists.com/girlosun_9
that is for children
linen double fold bias tape at least a 1/2 inch (for skirts for the older two)
Little figurines so we can make this:
http://www.parenting.com/article/Toddler/Activities/Ocean-in-a-Bottle
unpainted wooden nesting dolls

I claim girlosun_9 for a tote bag for one of her children
2nd claim, 0,0
UPDATED - items in purple are new
I am a SAHM to 4 kiddos. We have 3 girls and 1 boy, 8yrs, 5 yrs, 3 yrs & 1 yr old. We live in KY and have a small amount of living space for all 6 of us. The sisters all love "the Bubs" very much. He probably needs the most stuff since we have so many girly things.
for Bubs:
(He has a surfer/skateboarder style with cool hair to match.)
Some cool surfer/skateboarder style stenciled/silkscreened/appliqued t-shirts - size 12 mo.
12 mo tees stenciled/silkscreened with sayings "Bread Lovers Unite!" or "Yeah, Toast" (yes, he's a bread man)
Cadet style hat
pj pants or sets (styled like Old Navy/Gap pants) he is cloth diapered so he needs some extra room in the pants. I love stripes in boyish colors.
He is very good with his hands and likes to manipulate things so we need some toys that are good for him to manipulate.
Wooden lock box toy like this:
http://www.peapods.com/browse.cfm/4,667.htm
wooden freeform blocks like this:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=cat3_gallery_16&listing_id=15031092
Nuts & Bolts board like this (bottom of pg 36):
http://www.michaelolaf.com/08JC13toys.pdf
Sew cloth diapers
(I have the fabric & pattern - I need your serger & sewing skills with elastic)
Homemade magnet puzzles
like this - I love the classic story pictures:
http://www.chicaschmica.com/2008/09/homemade-puzzle-magnets/
For the girls:
Artwork to put in a frame (can be scrapbooked/drawn/painted etc.) with their name, name meaning & scripture (ask me for the descriptions)
Wool Felt play food for their kitchen (I'm not looking for 100% wool felt, just a wool felt blend)
Hand puppets for 3 yr old. Somethat look realistic like this:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=cat3_gallery_5&listing_id=9739568
Doorway puppet theater
(like in the link below) but with these modifications – 42-48” wide, 36” from floor to window, and tabs at the top so I can use a tension rod to mount it.
http://www.magiccabin.com/magiccabin/product.do?section_id=0&bc=1004&pgc=707&cmvalue=MCD
Indoor Hopscotch Mat:
http://www.wists.com/cjkj/d3caf7c2bf09c56dad8f2fec02de622c?offset=0
Crocheted headbands that grip for 5 yr old. Her hair is so thin it falls out of anything we use to put it up. Like the large cream one in this post:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=232665.0
Pop Tab Belt for 8 yr old - she ADORES this but we don't drink can soda.
http://ohsocrafty.blogspot.com/2005/05/can-tab-belt.html
Poppet
- one with brown and turquoise hair
Supplies:
wool felt & floss for 8 yr old to craft with
shrinky dink DIY kit
for 8 yr old

I claim CJKJ for headbands.
3rd claim, 0 sent, 0 received
Here's my list. I'll add some wishes in other techniques now and then, so if you don't find something, please turn in again later. If you don't find something, but want to claim me, you could also PM me and suggest something you'd like to make. I haven't put heavy objects on my list like soap. or wooden things, but of course you can suggest these.
I am a mom of two great boys. I'm a she-nerd chaos machine, and I have passed this on to my lovely little nerdy chaos generators. Crafting is what keeps me going. And coffee
We live in Germany.

Wears size 104, moving up to 110 soon.

Please consider that anything my kids get to handle must be robust, that is everything must be sewn on tight and good, as we are all clumsy folk, and the little, eh, middle one is still not out of poking age.
No camouflage or war themed stuff please.
___________________ __
Hoodies
knitted hooded vest or sleeveless hooded jacket
papoose leather slippers (can give you patterns)
ADDED:
crayon roll
name signs, whichever technique, we could use them for adjusting to shelves, so they can be any material or technique
cool wristlets (but please in sets of two because of massive wristlet envies
)
Anything themed to their favourite TV shows or movies
Stuffies from Gorillaz, esp one of Noodle when she wears her headphones (they'll never grow out of something that's so cool)
themed pillowcases for 45x45cm, for example a knitted or crocheted chessboard
From LazyTown:
A Pixel shirt
A knitted Sportacus hat (must be very soft) or scarf or anything Sportacus wears
or example stuffies or pillows like Mike and Sully
A wall hanging for putting mittens in (like a net), preferably Ice Age/prehistoric themed, but every design is okay
Viking garb (everything but the tunics, as we already have these)
They have a fireman suit and helmet, but accesories are welcome (crochet fire extinguisher or fire extinguisher stuffie?)
cotton blanket with windows in it (to hang up for making a house), windows should be able to be closed
a cover for small matresses (vocabulary problem, sorry, but I can describe it: It should cover the whole matress not just the top, and be closed with a zipper or velcro, and the size is about 70x70x15cm (please ask for exact size, and if you need the size in inches)

a Findus bag or purse
anything related to soccer
anything related to Astrid Lindgren novels
anything related to trains, esp. ICE (German high velocity train), TGV (French high velocity train) or steam engines
something with big numbers on for Middle M
something related to chess
and, as we can't buy glow-in-the-dark-colors in Germany, if you have any, maybe you can do anything cool with it (for example, we can buy small glowing items, like stars, but we don't have a glowing spaceship to match the stars in the kid's room, or an owl. or something like that)
and for my nephew and niece I am looking for Digimon amigurumi or stuffies, and tool belts.

S aged 14 : Spends his entire waking hours on the computer if he possibly can do – or the Wii or XBOX360. He has grown up with Nintendo - especially Mario – so anything with that theme would go down well. He hates sports and is quite happy being a geek ☺
He loves music too – especially Linkin Park.
Favourite programmes: Heroes and The Simpsons
Fave colours: blue and black
Fits size 15/16 – Mens size small.
Needs things to organize his desk/schoolwork
Maybe a pocket to attach to his bunk bed to keep his book and DS in when he goes to sleep.
(received - a mario stuffie!)
J aged 11 – loves World War 2 tanks – and all military stuff – especially American and Japanese stuff. His bedroom has this theme so any storage items, books, pictures that would work would be great.
Patterns: camoflage, WW11 planes and tanks, soldiers,
Loves drawing – especially cartoons and marvel comic style heroes.
Favourite programmes: The Simpsons and Futurama
He fits age 10 t shirts (he is small for his age)
Some hats/scarves would be useful (nothing scratchy – he is quite fussy LOL!)
Likes blue, green and red.
(received - a Dr Zoidberg stuffie )
N aged 6 has ADHD and is a bit of a handful! He likes Doctor Who in a big way!! He seems to like the classic series as much as the current one. Particularly Daleks and Cybermen. Also likes Spiderman and The Fantastic Four. Enjoys crafts and drawing.
He fits 7/8 clothes.(128cm in euro/ottobre size)
He likes all colours.
He could also do with cold weather gear and storage items – plus drawing pads/colouring pens etc that are unusual.
N aged nearly 3 is a Disney Princess – she is totally mad for Little Mermaid, Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast etc etc. Loves dressing up and drawing. She starts ballet this term.
Fits 3-4 size clothes/98cm euro/ottobre. Loves pink, pink and more pink. Pretty typical for her age I suppose., She does like Hello Kitty too. Her room is all pink and cream but not that cutesy. Could always use cooler weather clothes – I like her in miniboden (
www.boden.co.uk
)style clothes – slightly retro and hardwearing/washable.

I claim missgabbielynn for something from her wists for Noah and, if it doesn't work out, something Thomas the Train.
This is my second claim of three allowed, zero sent, zero received.
It would also have to be non itchy yarn or it would never get worn.
A felt pencil case like this
http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.3a0656639de62ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=781f8b6244277110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&vgnextchannel=66f3802fb632c110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&lnc=66f3802fb632c110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=organizing+tip+of+the+day_recipe_b
We strongly prefer wool felt but would be open to pretty much anything
Knitted Hats to fit my children. The youngest is two, middle is four, oldest is ten--heads slightly bigger then average for the two year old and ten year old.
Colorful sock monkey
Felt Food (Sandwhich, Pizza, Breakfast Items, Produce)
Tote bag or bags with an outer pocket for bed time (a pocket for a book and a pocket for pjs). The oldest likes bold colors and animal prints. The middle child likes butterflies, purples, pinks, and browns. The youngest likes monkeys and soft fabrics.
Anything from/inspired by my wist:
http://www.wists.com/girlosun_
9 and there are a lot of ideas here, please feel free to craft something you would like to craft!
A pendant making kit (for the eldest, this is what she wants to make for Christmas gifts for her friends) like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15000148
or this
http://www.makeandtakes.com/links/scrabble-tile-pendant-tutorial
or this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=14928442
I never thought I would be saying this (as our middle child was toilet trained at just over a year and our oldest came to us at 4) but cloth diapers to fit a two year old. Our two year old just isn't interested in toilet training.
And I know these are both huge but if anyone wants to make either of them, we wouldn't object A fabric dollhouse like this
http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2008/08/fabric_dollhouse_tutorial.html?CMP=OTC-5JF307375954
or
a set like this
http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66029
