So my friend is one of those nuts who will spend whatever amount of money on something that smells good.. so for her birthday i tried making several things in her favorite scents..her birthday is in October so I tried to stay in the fall theme.

The purple soaps are red rose and thyme
The sugar scrub is cucumber melon with green tea
The two tins are pumpkin spice with orange zest light scrub
The two candles are banana nut bread... I have no clue how to make candles but she wanted them.. I bought some cheap pack of creme wax from micheals..and had to force myself to use my soap fo on it Sad

Anyone make candles? It was kinda fun..soap making is more exciting to me..but cost whys is it about the same as making soaps? Thanks

Beautiful! I bet it smells divine Cheesy. Did you come up with your own recipes or use existing ones?

Your friend is very lucky indeed.

thanks guys!

As far as making them up my own..my soap yes. Scrubs not really.. I don't personally like scrubs at all! I hate the way they feel under my fingernails so when she asked for scrub I found the easiest way to make it using almond oil , sugar, salt, honey, zested fruit and fragrance oils. I will one day create some sort of fluffy smooth lotion/butter that contains scrub but doesn't collect under my nails! Smiley

I want to give pamper packs to the family ladies this year and scrubs always seem nice. I love your soaps and stuff too and the packaging is wonderful. Thanks for sharing Cheesy

I've seen them at all the craft stores by me: Michael's, JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, etc.

Have you checked the soap-making aisle?
