I want to become a professional cake decorator so I need to expand my portfolio. To help me out a friend asked for a wedding cake (she is only 15 and nowhere near ready to get married but she wanted one anyways) So I designed and made this. It is my first time doing a layer cake, in the future I will use suports so it doesnt lean. I'm really happy with how this turned out. The K E on the top heart stands are the intials of the "bride and groom" Katie and Edward (Edward from Twilight Wink )
Let me know what you think Cheesy

More importantly... what flavor is the cake? Cheesy

I think you're off to a pretty good start!  Work on cleaning up the edges a bit for a more "polished" look and it will improve the overall view of it.

yay! more twilight fans. Try making a cake with straight sides and a circular edge on top. Yours sides are lumpy. Looks yummy though.

Really cute Smiley
The lettering on top looks great!
Like the others said, clean up the edges a bit, maybe use a circular cutter for the designs on the sides. But otherwise it looks YUM!

Also, piping a border helps to cover up uneven edges of fondant. I took the Wilton 1 class at Joann's and that helped me a lot with learning how to pipe frosting.
