I was clearing out my son's clothes cupboards, and realised that my daughter could do with some new winter clothes.
So, I took some of my boys trousers, cut off the legs, added turn-ups and some applique, and hey presto, a pair of shorts for wearing over leggings or tights when the weather gets cooler!  Grin
my girl is not a 'girly-girl' and likes getting messy, so I hope she gets lots of wear out of these, and it saves throwing something away  Smiley
as A brand newbie, i cannot post yet, so, I'll try and link this....

great recon!  The flower applique is precious.  I'm sure she's going to get much use of them!

I love them, what a great idea!

Hoping to open my own Etsy store next year. Love creating clothes for my 2yr old Princess and myself.

thanks for the lovely replies,
It was only through looking at craftster in the last couple of weeks that I was inspired to try a recon, and I'm really pleased that I did! Grin
