I recently made a mixed CD for my SIL and her new baby.  I made a case for the disc out of a piece of solid colored cardstock glued on one side to a piece of decorator "scrapboook" paper.  Then I cut out a pattern I made up, folded it,  and glued it into shape.  I printed a sticker label to put on the CD itself.

Here is the finished set:

Another set I made:

Here is the song playlist I used most recently in case it can help someone.

2. Pure Imagination- Maroon 5
3. Everything Possible- Fred Small

5. True Colors- Cyndi Lauper
6. For Ever and Ever- Christopher Robin and Pooh
7. Reurn To Pooh Corner- Kenny Loggins
8. You'll Be In My Heart- Phil Collins
9. Rainbow Connection- Dixie Chicks
10. Ice Cream- Sarah McLachlan
11. All the Pretty Little Horses- Current 93
12. Live Like You Were Dying- Tim McGraw
13. Imagine- John Lennon

Very pretty! I love your paper choices and a personalized cd is a great gift for a new mommy and baby. Also, thanks for the pattern, I have a feeling I'll need to be making one of those pretty soon.  Grin

I didn't make them for favors, just as a gift for the mom/baby  Smiley
I made a blanket for them as well.
