I'm nearly finished with my tree stuff.  I'll have to see about mailing though.  As of now, I still can't get out of the house.  The fracture seems to be healing because I'm in much less pain and getting about the house a little easier (with the help of darvocet, which I'm starting to wean off, and my walker).

Evidently I haven't been paying attention!  I'm sorry you have a broken bone to contend with Mama!  I had a leg injury last winter and remember how awful it is to try to get anything done when you're housebound and using a walker!  My prayers!

Seriously, what a bummer!  I have had a broken wrist and a number of broken toes, so nothing too bad... limited mobility/ability to shower, etc. definitely sucks.  Here's to hoping for a super speedy recovery!

On the tree front, I guess I'm about done.  I'm waiting to ship until I gather all the stuff for the paper crafty scavenger hunt... did I already post this somewhere else in the thread?  I am feeling a bit of deja vu.

In any event, the send-outs for these two swaps are both the 14th, so I will just take everything to the post office at the same time.

Thank you all for your well wishes.  This is my first broken bone, but it's a doozy.   However, it could have been worse.  A broken femur and (especially) a broken hip would have been disastrous.

Eek! I'm sorry to hear that mamarose! I hope you have a speedy recovery!

I've only ever broken 1 bone and that was in my thumb. I was picking up a twig when I was a toddler, and stood on the other end Cheesy

I am finished, but will be out of town tomorrow, and Monday. So mailing will be on Wednesday. Yeah! Smiley
