Details of swap:Elm, oak, willow, orange… do you obsess over trees?
If you love trees or have always been drawn to them, this is the perfect swap for you. Trees have been an intrinsic part of many cultures, from the giving of an olive branch in ancient Greece to the tree of life. Anything goes in this swap as long as it is tree-inspired.
Take inspiration from their branches, leaves, colors, fond childhood memories of climbing them… whatever. We all know we love them, now let’s craft in the name of them.

You must craft
FIVE points worth of items for this swap. According to the swap guidelines here on Craftster:
BIG/LARGE item = 3 points
MEDIUM item = 2 points
SMALL item = 1 point
This means you have options! You can craft 1 large and 1 medium, or 1 large and 2 smalls, or 1 medium and 3 smalls.
No more than 3 of your 5 points may be small items. This should be doable for everyone, as it equates to one point of crafting per week. That is one small item, or fewer than two hours of crafting time, per week.
If you and your partner agree to craft more than the required number of points, that is fine. Just make sure it is agreed upon between the two of you! It is always a fantastic idea to have good communication with your partner!
Likewise, you MUST have good communication in this swap. 5 weeks of crafting time is a lot of time for swappers to get "lost", especially with the upcoming holidays. PLEASE remember to check-in with the thread (this means posting to let us know you're still on board) or with your organizer by PM roughly once a week. If you do not show good communication, it will be noted in your feedback.
This swap, like most swaps on Craftster, requires a Delivery Confirmation number if you and your partner both live in the U.S. If that is not the case, please retain your receipt so you can prove that you shipped, should your package go missing. If you and your partner both live in the U.S., you must PM the delivery confirmation number to
both your partner and your organizer once you ship.
And you are more than welcome to ship early if you've finished early!
You will be given feedback once your partner receives and lets your organizer know, however this does not absolve you of your duty to post photos after YOU receive from your partner.
Once feedback is given it is possible (and easy) for your organizer to change it, so do not think that you're in the clear from being given negative comments just because you've sent - we will do so if necessary!
Partners will be assigned the afternoon of Friday, October 10. I will post them in the second post of this thread and then PM everyone with their questionnaire and their partner's questionnaire. If we have a co-organizer (25+ participants), I will post partners in groups assigned by organizer. You will contact your organizer with all questions and your organizer will be the one giving you feedback. Your organizer will also receive the questionnaires of all of her group members.
