I wish *I* could take credit for these, but, alas, it's my dear hubby who has the strength to bend these tines, and make them do whatever he wants them to do.

As for me?  I'll stick to melting glass!   Anyhow...how do you like this one?  It's made with 2 vintage forks!

The best part about these?  They're recycled.  We're going to really concentrate on giving back to Mother Earth with our art.

Beautiful!  And I love that it's reusing existing items without looking "reused".  Beautiful (it needed a second one)

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

hey lady (and awesome husband!)
I just wanted to say that your posts recently have been kind of inspirational for me. My gramma passed away this summer which has been hard on my mom and me. we inherited her silverwear as well as that of my great-gramma - the stuff is beautiful, all sterling silver, monogrammed and from Birks but really, what does a modern girl do with such things... I can't imagine eating dinner with a $100 fork Tongue Anyway, the point of this is that a few weeks ago, mom and I decided that rather than ferret it away in a drawer somewhere, we should take a few of the nicer pieces and convert them into jewelry for all of gramma's daughters and granddaughters so that we all have a personal keepsake. I'm still learning how to do this, but I just wanted you to know that the uniqueness of your designs have really inspired me and given me confidence that this is the right thing to do Smiley

*sniff*  WOW.  Thanks, so very much.  My husband just finished up a whole set of bracelets for a bride, her mom, and all of her bridesmaids.  I thought it was a really cool idea.  GOOD FOR YOU!

Rock on!
