Made a inkle loom as my other loom wasn't working for inkle weaving  Shocked

Warped and ready

Band in progress

Close up

Bands I've made so far,top 4 are card woven, bottom one is inkle woven

Its made from pine(soft wood)and hard wood dowels and seems to be holding up well. The brace on the top keeps it from bending under tension,it is also braced along the long arm.So far so good  Cheesy

Shocked I have no idea what just happened. I was amazed enough with whatever I saw until I saw what it produced. That's so awesome!

Hurray for tablet and card weaving!!  I really like your band, second from the top.  Anyone who can keep those cards straight is my hero.

I made a card woven band once, and then I forgot how to thread my cards  Undecided  Ever since then I've stuck to inkle bands.

What are you going to use your bands for?  That's another place where I get stuck.  I love making them, and now I have tons of trim I haven't done anything with.

I'm thinking of joining them together to make items like coin purses, small bags, cell phone pouches, dog leashes, collars and things like that Smiley

Awesome!  I really like the dog collar idea.  My pooch can always use a new collar.  If you made one, please post it!

I've used inkle as trim on costumes, made a strap for my mandolin, and handles for hockey cowbells  Cheesy

I want one! Does it work much the same as card weaving? I've only seen it attached to a doorknob for the card weaving. Great job!
