So this has been a travel cross stitch piece which has followed me on planes for the past 3 years. Its The Venetian Windows #2 from Michael Powell http://www.michaelpowellcross-stitch-art.com/. It was a bit difficult to get a good photo of the overall, so Ive also shown a few details......hope you like it cause I find his designs so much fun.

Wow, what a fantastic piece.

I'm impressed that you stuck with it for three years.  I either wouldn't take on such a project or I would give up on it (or lose the pattern...).

Are you going to frame it or do you have other plans for it?

I guess Im going to frame it, something which I dont normally do.  I have a drawer full of completed pieces, but most arent necessarily things I want on my walls.
I dont know whether I actually DID stick with it for so long. It became a sort of habit to put it in my carry-on. Id pull it out and do perhaps 10 stitches but once the movie started Id stop it again! The main reason I finished is that my husband got sick me dragging it everywhere!

That is awesome!  I have a project that's stretching on for several years, but I just can't seem to get motivated to complete it.  Thanks for the link, too.  I was not familiar with his work, but I like what I see!
